Jodi’s friends at Fashioning an Ethical Industry have an interesting competition lined up.Fashion and Textiles Competition Travel to the Ghana, work with a leading designer and showcase your work on the catwalk in Paris. Tabeisa along with the Ethical Fashion Forum are looking for designers of the future to bring an inspirational and cutting edge approach to values-led fashion and textile design, and are offering you this exciting opportunity to Design4Life’ The Design4Life brief asks you to harness your originality, passion and skills to produce a small fashion range of batik textile dress designs, based on a fair trade partnership with Women in Progress, a Ghanaian based fair trade co-operative of textile artists and entrepreneurs who will produce the winning batik textiles. thursday 8th july : Jodi is going to join in with the drum for justice day, a national day of drumming, focusing on the efforts of the make poverty history campaign, drummers from all over the uk will attempt a world record at midday by simultaneously drumming to the same beat, this will be held amidst other attractions for a fun time! jodi will be joining in the events held locally in nottingham, details to follow...
